memes are designed to proliferate. Their packets of useless or useful information is meant to be shared across whatever medium its set upon. The communism of information? Sort of. I don’t knowThe. new paradigm of information of having, in a sense, a life of its own. Whomever created the meme is usually not the point. The transmitted information is the point and it belongs to anyone able to dicypher the information. The best memes i think are those that do have a level of built in encryption. You either get it and it resonates or rejected, or it is disruptive and calls out to be explored and thought about. There is a social media group that i have enjoyed that deals with ‘useless and unsuccessful memes’ and to be honest i witnessed rare intelligent absurdity and some of the so called ‘dankest’ of dark humor. It was meta upon meta metacognition. So here on steemit i know our values are pro creative content and certaintly anti plaragist but this doesnt mean to make halting meme transmission does it? Curation right? The point of a meme is for it to travel. Once released bynwhomever coined it its gone out of their hands and out of their control. Nothing can stop it. Once something goes memetic it is as if it levels up to the point of public domain or perhaps social phenemona or collective conciousness and cannot be seen in the light of plagarism. I know im missing the true algorithm of understanding proper so feel free to indeed put your two bits (0.25 usd) worth in.
