Broad shoulders slumped, Dr. Turner returned from his break as slowly as he could. His latte had turned cold and bitter long ago, but he persisted to drink the rest of it as he entered the labratory again.
Someone stank today. The invading scent of sweat and rotting flesh and death ponged throughout the building more so than usual. Dr Turner scrunched up his nose and continued with the day's work.
He elegantly reached for a stainless steel scaple; its edge sharp much like the man wielding it. Although a large, bald man, his clammy hands were precise and articulate.
Blood oozed slowly from a patient's cold flesh as Dr Turner made a precise incision with his scaple. Working his way down the corpses' arm, he shuttered slightly. That vaguely familiar feeling started to make Dr Turner worry. Someone was watching him.
BANG BANG BANG
Each grey hair on the back of Dr. Turner's neck stood at attention in response to the sudden noise. The scaple fell to the marble floor with a loud ring. Dr. Turner could feel his whole body tremor in fear.
As he pivoted around uncertainly, a violent screaming echoed from the refrigerators. The voice screeched 'Help me!,' and 'Get me out!'. Over and over, she cried.

Pauline's daily nap had gone longer than intended. Typically, Mrs Pauline Ragsdale would dream of the ocean and the scent of fresh, hot cinnamon doughnuts. Disturbed by the nightmare of being burred alive, she shook awake.
The warmth of her bed had been replaced by a cold, claustrophobic cell. Once the panic set in she screamed and begged to be let out. The steel door rattled as she pounded it desperately with her frail old hands.

Invasive light flooded Pauline's vision as she felt the ground under her shifting forward. Above her stood Dr. Turner, mouth agape. He as was shocked as anyone would be. It appears one of Spiral Bay's Nursing Residents had overslept and ended up being admitted to the morgue.
