That's right. Pecan Pie, the best pie that these kittens will ever have. They have managed to go to the supermarket and smile sweetly at the customer service.
"Works every time," said Sam kitten.
"Yes, this pie is heaven," replied Pam.
"Our mother won't feed us," said Dan. "It's neglect. All we did was lose our mittens. However, we still get pie."
"And some Coke," said Sam.
The kittens decide to go back home.
"You shall have no pie," said mother kitten.
"We are brave, Mummy," said Pam.
"What does that mean?"
"We can go without pie. We are strong. We live and we learn."
Mother kitten is speechless. Deadly silence follows.
"It would be easier if you found your mittens. Then you can eat my delicious pie."
"You can give it to the dogs," said Dan. "We can go without pie."
Mother kitten is speechless again for a few seconds.
"There are no dogs. The pie will be wasted. Couldn't you have just found your mittens? Didn't you bother looking?"
They didn't. They went straight to the supermarket. The sly little kittens.
"We are brave," said Sam. "We want to go to bed now."
"But you will starve," said Mummy. "Wait until Daddy gets home."
That's exactly what they intend to do, because they know that Mummy kitten hid the mittens earlier in the day. The same place she always hides them.
