While watching a TV show when I was a child about a dolphin named Flipper...singing, "They call him Flipper, Flipper faster than lightning," I wanted to live like those boys and spend my days with Flipper. That dolphin sounded like he was communicating with the boys and he was so smart.
After I watched a show about the taping of the TV show Flipper, my heart sank when I learned that Flipper was trained and everything Flipper did on that show was with hand commands. What a big disappointment.

"Swim with dolphins" is on my bucket list and has not been scratched off. However, I did come close when I was 15 years old. My parents took me and my brother on a fishing trip in Florida where I sat on the bow of the boat and watched the dolphins swimming ahead of us; leading the way. It was so much fun and the closest I ever came to swimming with the dolphins.
And not too long ago, I thought I was finally swimming in an ocean...with dolphins, only to be disappointed once again. Most people think that when you join Steemit you start off as a minnow. A few months after joining Steemit I read a post by @albertvhons who stated that we do not begin as minnows; we begin as redfish. To make matters worse, I learned that that I am not even swimming in an ocean. I am a redfish...swimming in a bowl! Once again, I find myself yearning to swim with the dolphins and wonder if I will ever be able to scratch this off of my bucket list.
