Hi there @berniesanders. I will take this chance too.
First of all a bit of myself so you can know me. My name is Saturno Mangieri known in #Steemit as @theghost1980. I love crypto and I truly believe we, as crypto-ethusiasts, we have the potential to change world's economy as we know it so far. Many people doesn't get the real concept of cryptocurrencies(and many more don't want to see it), so far they can only see the tip of the icerbeg. They see:
- A great opportunity to get rich quick.
- An amazing chance to buy some shitty coins so maybe they can get rich quick if one of those coins goes up to the moon.
- A great time to get into it just because of the FOMO.
The real thing, as I see it and that's the reason why I love so much Blockchain is because:
- It can really change world's economy by kicking world banks asses once for all.
- It allows us to move money as we want, as we need and as we really desire(It removes the middleman). I.e: I have been living in Venezuela for about almost 2 years and because of crypto I couldn't have stay here so long. Otherwise I would be gone by now. Crypto allows me to handle money, from overseas banks and converting it to BTC, then repeating the process to get local fiat. At least I control my money and I can play to spend less money in fees and bureaucracy.
- It has Blockchain technology which allows us to decentralise, theoretically, everything we could wish or even imagine. I dream with a voting system based in Blockchain so no body could trick votes, just to quote one practical example here.
- It can define value and truly share wealthiness.
Anyway, this is what I see. We as people are used to become part of the system. This is why I can see corruption going on in #steemit, many types of abuse, many people just caring about themselves. I believe very few people understand the power within crypto, but not all is lost. We have time to make things right. For example: we have time to make things right in #steemit by rewarding people for real, giving people good value for their time and true efforts. The core team in #steemit it has the potential to open the circle of action if they really want to. I keep myself quoting a @rok-sivante post >>>right here<<<<<<. He said a very practical solution to bring millions of users into #steemit but, who really knows what the core team really wants???. That post just made around $8.98 and got around 137 votes. I mean are you kidding me? I can see many stupid posts within the trending section whom will make more than $200(many of them using bidbots) and getting more than 1000 upvotes.
Enough of my thoughts...well, taking this chance to ask you for a delegation I will expose my recent work in #steemit and some details:
- I have been working in a curation community called @steemitvenezuela. We are a small team. We started as 10 people. Now, because I have no means to incentivase the core team, 6 of them have abandoned.
- My curation community is working, as we can, to curate posts but not only just giving them an upvote. We care about blogging. We teach people how to become better writers or better V-Bloggers. So far we have been curating for about 7 months. Approximately 31 curation reports, each one with 20 posts curated. That's around 620 articles just of spanish speaking content. Maybe @curie would say that's not even close to the work they do but we do not have the support they have and we do curate people continuously.
So we have a lot of ideas but so far they can only be ideas.
- We could really take #steemit to a massive adoption by supporting real life projects whom can change people's lives for the better1. Right now we have one project we could support but honestly with our current Voting power we could not help this project to feed 40 grandparents each week or not even buy them shoes as a christmas present.
1: C'mon guys, aren't you tired of talking about monsters in cards? can we move into real life things so we can make this a massive platform?
So please feel free to ask me anything. Feel free to check out my profile and my community profile anytime.
RE: If I delegate 30k SP to you, will you shill for me like all of @fulltimegeek's supporters?
