Share2Steem Fundition Update #5
New Features for Sponsors and Delegators, New Statistics for the Trails
Welcome to the 5th Update of the Share2Steem Campaign powered by @Fundition.
In this post, we will speak about the latest updates made by the Share2Steem team and give a preview of what is to come.
You will also find some statistics, useful links and instructions on how to delegate to us or support the project via our Fundition Campaign.
New Feature for Delegators : Score Allocation
Delegators have now the possibility to allocate a portion of their Delegation Score to other Share2Steem users. By doing so, the delegator transfers a part of his Delegation Score to another user, who will benefit from the increased upvotes given to delegators. The delegator allocating part of his score to others will see his score diminish, hence the upvotes he gets from the @share2steem account on his/her posts.
The goal is to allow delegators who don't post to get all the rewards their delegations should bring them, by giving their score to a friend or to a secondary account which they might choose to post from.
Allocating score doesn't change the recipiendary of the Daily Payouts, which will still be sent to the "real" delegator.
The absolute score displayed on the Leaderboard page won't change, only the relative score will, the leaderboard for the Delegation item will also reflect the changes
The feature is available in the "Settings" page. Here we can see @algo.coder giving 50% of his Delegation Score to @twitter.news and 25% to @nebula-ai (hence keeping 25% for himself).
Users can be easily added or modified.
Here we see @algo.coder's leaderboard scores. The upvote strength he will receive on his future posts (for the Delegation item) went from 23% to 5.76% as he allocated part of his Delegation score to other users.
In contrast, the upvote strength that @twitter.news will receive in his next posts went from 0% to 11.52% thanks to @algo.coder allocating some Delegation score to him.
New Features for Sponsors : Default Upvote for New Affiliates and Minimum Voting Power
On the Affiliates page, sponsors can now choose a default upvote strength that will be casted on new affiliates' posts. It is still possible to later individualize each affiliate's uvpote strength via the system already in place.
Sponsors can also set a Minimum Voting Power required for their votes to be casted, so no more worry about referrals depleting Voting Power.
On the Affiliates page, define the Minimum Voting Power required for upvotes to be given to your affiliates. Choose a default upvote strength that will be used for all new affiliates signing up using your referral link.
New Statistics for the Trails
Understanding the variations in votes received from the different trails was quite difficult. With new statistics displayed, everyone will now have access to all available information about Trails.
The overall presentation for the "Posts Made" table in the Statistics section of the website has changed a bit. You won't see directly any information about the number of votes, just the value of the votes and the percentage of the post's rewards it represents. When votes have been received from a given trail, a little clickable "pie chart icon" will appear and you will be able to see detailed statistics about votes sent through the Trails : how many were casted ? how many weren't done because VP was lacking for the voter ? Same goes for RCs (mana). Other less common errors might also appear. The goal is that everyone has these statistics to better understand how the Trails work and why do they fluctuate every post.
The summary table is now clearer, focusing on key numbers (value of the votes received and the part it represents on the post's total pending rewards)
For this particular post, we can see that on all upvotes launched via the trail 46.4% made it to the post. 48% were stopped because the voter didn't have enough Voting Power (lower than the limit set in his Settings at the time of the potential upvote). 5.6% were also "denied" because the users didn't have enough Mana (RCs), the limit being set at 3 comments to make sure everyone has enough to post. Raw numbers are available in tooltips.
