Real Madrid defeated Manchester United 2-1 in the final of the Super Cup during which Fellaini was hit on the face that came out in a hilarious photo
Manchester United may have come out of their UEFA Super Cup final against Real Madrid with disappointment, but their midfielder Marouane Fellaini had something to smile about.
The midfielder was hit on the face awkwardly during the contest which his team lost to the game to Real Madrid 2-1, with the Brazilian Casemiro and Spanish player Isco scoring for the latter.
For Manchester United, it was the new signing in Romelu Lukaku scoring the only goal for his side, but also missing an opportunity which many believe should have been converted.
However, it was a funny photograph of Fellaini which emerged after the match, taken by Boris Grdanoski of the Associated Press which provided the fans as well as the footballer himself a moment to laugh.
