No parent really wants to show fear or weakness in front of their child.
After all, you're the boss, you're in charge - and you want your child to be as brave possible too. Meaning, becoming a parent often involves dealing with those little phobias we all have.
Sometimes, however, it simply can't be helped.
Sometimes, you'll be confronted by your very worst fear, and, like mum-of-two Laura Mazza , it will be very hard to stay composed.
Laura was recently about to embark on a car journey with her toddler kids when she spied an eight-legged gatecrasher in the front of the vehicle with her.
Laura, who is currently pregnant with her third child and blogs under the name of Mum on the Run, was not overly-enamoured with the spider's presence
In fact, she was so terrified she revealed in a video posted to her page that she'd even VOMITED in front of her kids.
"Oh s*** What do you want from me? State your purpose," Laura says in the video.
"I'm sweating, I'm sweating, where the f*** were you? Oh my god, oh god, the string is coming out of it's a***, I'm going to vomit."
At this point we should add that Laura is based in Melbourne, Australia - where they have some serious arachnids.
Tucked away safely in the UK, we have a lot less to fear size and venom-wise from our spider friends.
Eventually Laura plucked up the courage to open the car door - but remained paralysed and unable to bring herself to flick the beast off.
"I can kill it humanely...I can't get this out, I can't drive my car. I need someone to come. Please somebody come and rescue me. Please come," she pleads.
