Immigration or Invasion

Everyone who even occasionally watches the news is probably aware of the migrant caravan making it's way towards the United States through Central America and Mexico.

What initially started out out as about 3,000 migrants from Honduras and El Salvador, has now drastically increased to somewhere between 7,000 to 10,000. This is probably the biggest mass immigrating move we have seen in a long time, but there is one thing I can't seem to find anywhere. That is, why are there so many of these people joining in to march up to the United States and demand entry, refugee status and or citizenship? What are they running from, is there war in their country, or is it solely to go find work in the US?

To add fuel to the fire there have been some video going around social media of people handing out money to anyone who would join this caravan. This is something you will very much no see mentioned on MSM, and I also find it very suspicious or convenient that this would happen right now, just weeks before US midterm election. Yes this could be purely coincidental, but these are politicians we are talking about here, anything to regain the power they have recently lost.

I have no issue with immigration, I have a problem with illegal immigration. I would love to go live in America, but there are a certain policies and laws that I need to abide by, in order to qualify or to became a citizen of that country, or any other country. The major issue I currently have with the whole immigration debate is that people seem to not understand the difference between legal and illegal. The other part is that those who are completely for open borders does not realize that the majority of people are coming mostly for the free social programs that are non-existent in their own countries. The statistics do not lie, and it's the same reason social welfare grows bigger and bigger each year in my own country, because these policies incentivize people to depend on the government. This will never, ever be a sustainable approach, you can not have open boarders and a welfare state.
