Hi Steemit friends, this is a dilemma that many parents go through when their little babies are one year old. This is the case of my neighbors, which we will call Ana and Carlos.

Ana is convinced to make a great celebration, because it is the first birthday of her first-born Anna Sofía, she dreams of that day, she wants to decorate Minnie Mouse with a big cake and a big piñata, many drinks, food, and many guests among relatives, friends, and neighbors.
On the other hand, Carlos thinks that it is better to make a simple party and when Anna Sofia is 2 or 3 years old make a great celebration, because Carlos says it will be a waste money, the baby will not enjoy the party, will spend all afternoon sleeping or maybe crying, and he will not even remember the moment.
Many parents go through this discussion and their points of view do not coincide, as is the case of Ana and Carlos.
