It would seem that we are moving towards more real and real experiences. Not only in videogames but also films and books or even spoken communication. Lets say if you watch a film of fantasy, you would appreciate more if the fx looks real, if it is a video game also the more real the better experience the easier to get immerse into that reality. And the same would go for books or story telling, the more detailed the more easier to become part of it. So essentially we seek experience in those mediums, the idea is that we are already moving towards the ultimate experience... so on my point of view the ultimate experience would be the experience that you are playing something that you dont know is a game or an experience, something that seems like is real... Like this life we are experiencing right now.
If you really think about it, whenever we seek this experiences we seek something that we cant actually do in real life, cause is either too dangerous, or immoral or illegal, thats why we seek it in books movies etc. So my point is that in the future there will be so much things that we could not do, like riding a motorbike or even a car, or have sex or eat and so on. In that future there wouldnt be inequality and perhaps no sex, or even no need to eat or even no death. But you would ask yourself then why so much suffering? And the answer would be that there is no suffering in the future, thats why we choose to experience this. And to make it even more real, we dont even know we are playing.... This videogame is basically what it keep us human In that utopic future. I dont know if I expresed my self correctly, is definitely not an easy subject to write in 5' however I think you will get the point... Is like we already do that now, so in the future the videogames would be lifes... Also if you can compress time, perhaps one life here that seems so long its actually few minutes in the future. However this is the kind of things that people tell me I shouldn't speak about.
