I am an avid game of thrones fan. started with the HBO TV series, and ventured into the books "A Song of Ice and Fire Series" by George R. R. Martin. I have found the series addictive, highly addictive.. The story is encapsulating, and full of surprises like favorite main characters dieing, or dissapearing and returning. Things like Ser Jorah Mormont being cured of gray scale, and now making his way back to the mother of dragons. Or one by one, the Starks are murdered, and now, possible Ser Jaime Lannister has drowned in the latest episode of season 7.
I hope for Queen Daenaryus to rule the seven kingdoms, and with the forces and dragons it looks inevitable. However, we all know how these go in Game of Thrones..... With Tyrion Lannister at her side, will they defeat Queen Cersi? The unsullied stuck at Casterlyrock. There are sure to be surprises in store for us.
I am especially excited to see where John Snows story leads to and what will become of him. As with the rest of you, I have my own ideas.
With The Dragon Queen's fleet gone, who knows what is in store now. Iron born gone, dawnish gone, tyrells gone and now the unsullied are stranded. Good thing the Dothraki are fierce warriors!
One thing i have noticed myself in the newest season of Game of Thrones, is that as amazing as it is, it seems to be missing that little extra flare that i believe comes from George R. R. Martin being involved. Don't get me wrong, i'm still loving the show, but to me it just seems a little different.
George has opted out, as the show has surpassed the books. It has been many many years since the last book was published, and he is now focusing on finishing the series. He is older, close to 70 so i hope for the final books.
One thing we have not seen much of this season is what the knight king is doing. I'm not sure if it will carry on to next season but I am excited to see what he brings, with his army of the dead. We now know he has giants in his army, is there the possibility of a dragon as well?
Time will tell, and if you are anything like me, you will be waiting anxiously!
