2018 is good for fans of the popular Magic: The Gathering. We already know that the Magic: The Gathering - Arena for a PC game is being prepared, and now Wizards of the Coast have announced an upcoming mobile title.
Called code project M, it is a smartphone game that has to be released by the end of 2018.
The game is being developed in cooperation with the South Korean mobile giant Netmarble and it seems it will not be with maps but by MOVA genre. It is working on the same team of South Koreans, who previously made the mobile MOVE Star Wars: Force Arena.
The MOVE market is overpopulated and Project M will have serious competition. More recently, Epic announced the suspension of Paragon, and before that Gearbox pulled the Battleborn switch. Tencent has released his Arena of Valor for Western gamers, and Vainglory recently received a major update that added 5-on-5 battles.
