Reshiram is a Legendary Pokémon from generation 5. It has been added to Pokémon GO this week, as Legendary Pokémon tend to take longer to be added to the game when a new generation is added because they're available as the Level 5 Raid Boss for a set time. Reshiram is the game's mascot for Pokémon Black, and kind of the counterpart to Zekrom who's the game mascot for Pokémon White. These two, together with Kyurem form the Tao trio a legend from the Sinnoh region.
With the weekly Raid Hour back it was once again possible to have a bunch of level 5 Raids close together to be able to do multiple in a shorter time span than throughout other days where you'd have to wait for a level 5 Raid to show up. We had to make smaller groups because we can't be outside in too big groups. The groups starting at 6 pm were already full, and some people couldn't make it before 6:30 pm. A friend and I joined this group then who'd do some Raids at 6:30 pm. It kinda sucks as we couldn't do as many Raids then, but still we could do a few Raids, and help out those who couldn't start earlier.
The fights overall went really well. With one Raid we were only 6 accounts and we managed to beat the Reshiram with half of the time left. Reshiram was weather boosted, so we got some really high CP Reshiram showing up. My best was a 2852 CP, which is not that good because they have to be 2884 CP for a 100% IV when weather boosted. The first one was a bit annoying to capture, some of my Premier Balls didn't hit it, but with a few left I was able to catch it. The second one was captured super fast. With the third one that we did, I was once again having some issues. Sometimes when I make a curveball throw from the top left corner, it would land next to its feet, rather than hitting the Reshiram. This happened for my last 3 Premier Balls, so I was unable to catch it. I'm wondering why this happens, because I always throw my curveballs from the left side. Perhaps I was releasing it too much into the top left corner, and have to release it from there but a bit more towards the middle rather than that much on the left. I shall try this again with the next Reshiram Raids that I'll do while its available. Does anyone happen to know if that might have been the issue though?
Reshiram will be available in Raids until June 16 at 1 pm PDT. After that we will most likely get Zekrom in Raids for about 3 weeks as well and then Kyurem. As they've both been announced. I'm really looking forward to Zekrom, as that one was my favourite of these 3. For now I'll try to get some Reshiram Raids done whenever there are some around and I can find enough people at that time to do them.
