This is @chrnerd with a review of another midlane League of Legends game.Staying in the same elo/skillcap level,this is around low diamond,around diamond V-IV.Going into champion select this is a blind pick Lissandra against a Xerath midlane with barrier.Generally speaking Xerath counters Lissandra in laning phase and probably has the same amount of pressure and teamfighting ability as Lissandra has in all stages of the game.Although Xerath is a counter he can be easily abused cause of his low escaping toolkit and mobility.Starting the game,I'm going for Doran's Ring with 2 potions which give me some extra ap with mana regen and fighting power.I'm opting for glass cannon Lissandra this game since they're all squishies and I can potentially oneshot everyone of them.I'm even leaving out the Mercury's Treads option because of their low cc teamcomp.Hextech Protobelt-01 rush gives you a very cool all in-ing ability.Next in line is Morellonomicon in order to cap Magic Penetration and deal as much damage as possible to enemies.Capping Magic Penetration gives you the ability to deal insane amounts of damage which can be translated to true damage most of the times,depending on what kind of magic resist items the enemy team has if they have any.Runes for this particular game can be viewed below:
Not going for the pretty common aftershock Lissandra gameplay.This runepage gives you the ability to add some extra damage to your kit and all in potential.Primary Tree with Electrocute,Eyeball Collection and Sudden Impact for the damage part while Ravenous Hunter for spellvamp and healing done by your abilities.Secondary Tree consists of Manaflow Band for some extra Mana addition and Transcendence for some extra Cooldown Reduction(CDR) on level 10 with some adaptive Ability Power(AP) if that 40% CDR limit is exceeded.
