About the Game
Resident Evil 7 is horror survival game developed by capcom. The story of the game follows a civilian Ethan Winters searching for his wife as she was lost, which leads him to a plantation inhabited by the Baker family. In this game, the players playing as Ethan have to use tools and weapons in order to fight against baker family who also has a ”molded”, a humanoid which is a form of a bacteria. There are various items in the game to use such as items to heal yourselves against the injuries and then solve the mystery and puzzles. in order to complete the game, people will have to go through various puzzles and there is always room for some mystery items which people can get by finding some of the hidden places in the game. The game is a survival horror game so it uses the first person perspective to play.
Gameplay
In the game, the player controls the character of ethans character from a first-person perspective. Ethan is a civilian who is having few combat skills and is able to arm himself with a variety of different weapons like Handgun, Shotgun, Flamethrowers etc.. he uses those weapons against the Baker family in order to find his wife. In order to get through the game, the players will have to fight various bosses in the game like baker family members including mia who are being controlled by eviline. Eviline is able to manipulate people physically by infecting them with her contamination which was high enough to turn her subjects into her weapons calls molded.
My Thoughts
Resident evil has no hiding or heavily stealth focused gameplay contrary to what its first-person style might lead some to believe.it is still a resident evil game and you will have to kill enemies by shooting or other methods available in the game. enemies in the game roam around all the plantation and sometimes attack out of nowhere and don’t think of leaving them and running away because they will be roaming around and waiting for you to come back and then kill you because there are many situations in the game where you will have to go many time at a particular place or in starting most of the game is in the first house so you cannot run too much from your enemies. Better close the door or kill them but again many times the ammo is not enough to kill them so better close the door on your way to other rooms otherwise they can follow you.
Overall the game is good and is fun to play because of the situations of solving puzzles to proceed and the situations where you have to run because you have no ammo to kill enemies.
Graphics wise the game is good but it could have done better with graphics but still, it is better than most of the games out.
Story-wise the game is really good because you have to apply your mind to proceed further in the game,which makes it fun to play and sometimes frustrating. Seriously I had to watch the walkthroughs for some levels because I had no idea what to do next.
The experience of the game was sometimes scarier because of the shortage of resources and sudden attacks by enemies with their scary faces.youhave to constantly fill your inventories with stuff like handgun etc. .overall the game was fun.
