Large orders allow backers to customize a Legendary Card and have it illustrated by our artist @shinoXL.
In addition to that, the new character is added to the booster collection; this way all players benefit from all this! So far we have two legendary cards implemented that way.
And the first is Captain Cranium, a fearsome pirate.
Who became this card:
Captain Cranium is a great option if you want to go "the Albator way"; being the best Space Combat Officer at the moment. He also turns your Origin to Criminal which means you can recruit Criminals in your crew.
However that comes with a tradeoff: with Cranium pirate ways, you can no longer recruit your military, science or any other restricted faction crew!
People with Syndicate contracts have a way to use him interestingly too.
Many Syndicate cards are also criminals.

But as you can see: with a Secret Agenda, a violent behavior and a low morality, Captain Cranium needs to be kept entertained!
This card is part of the booster collection and can only be found in boosters.

What else is going on in eXode?
The playable alpha was updated three times this week with new features and fixes.
The collection page and market too received updates every day, bringing in important fixes and security updates.
Yet two thirds of our time is also spent on the card collection this month. This is because of the two amazing events we are setting up, with Contract opening (extremely soon now) and Booster opening.
We are rolling in some final art, adjusting stats, spending a lot more time in collection design, and meanwhile we don't forget the playable alpha updates - making EVAC closer to the experience we want it to be! Because at the end of this month, it's HIVE rewards time!
Also next week; playable cards put in your game.
Games are now launched from your collection and initiated on the blockchain. This broadcast will receive your play cards in the next days.

EXODE is a space colonization game on HIVE.
Playing it needs a 8 USD Starter and the game accepts HIVE coins, STEEM coins and Paypal.
It is currently in playable alpha. We are still two weeks in its alpha and many features will be added in May. You can discover the game with its concept video or its alpha footage!
