Pero en el pasado hubo otras compañías que intentaron llevar la realidad virtual de otra manera, una de ellas fue sega con un accesorio que actualmente es algo muy extraño de ver debido a la función que tenía en antaño, se trata de la Sega Action Chair.

La Sega Action Chair es un periférico el cual fue diseñado para la Sega Genesis o también conocida como Mega Drive que nos permitía controlar ciertos videojuegos de una manera más “realista”, debido a que tenía forma de silla y en la base de la misma tenía un sensor el cual hacía la función de D-pad (la cruceta del mando), adicionalmente un par de botones a cada extremo donde colocábamos nuestras manos.

The Sega Action Chair is a peripheral which was designed for the Sega Genesis or also known as Mega Drive that allowed us to control certain video games in a more "realistic" way, because it was shaped like a chair and at the base of it had a sensor which did the function of D-pad (the crosshead of the controller), additionally a couple of buttons at each end where we placed our hands.
