Todos los años múltiples desarrolladoras trabajar en distintos proyectos relacionados con el mundo de los videojuegos, algunos de estos juegos tienen la suerte de tener éxito por muchos factores, entre los más relevantes se encuentra la jugabilidad, sin embargo, algunos no tienen dicha suerte de estar en el salón de la fama, inclusive no deberían de existir.
Every year multiple developers work on different projects related to the world of video games, some of these games are lucky to be successful for many factors, among the most relevant is the gameplay, however, some are not so lucky to be in the hall of fame, even should not exist.
Algunos de estos videojuegos rechazados por lo general son basados en otros juegos que tuvieron éxito, por ejemplo, Street Fighter es uno de los juegos del género de pelea más famoso de todos los tiempos, por él programadores y desarrolladores crearon muchos juegos algunos fueron muy buenos, otros simplemente fueron pésimos.
Some of these rejected games are usually based on other games that were successful, for example, Street Fighter is one of the most famous fighting games of all times, for it programmers and developers created many games some were very good, others were simply lousy.
Es así como nacen muchos juegos los cuales quedan enterrados en el pasado, a pesar de que fueron intentos por destacar en la industria no cumplieron con las expectativas de los gamers. A continuación, te mostrare algunos videojuegos los cuales no deberían de haber existido los cuales cumplen muy bien lo descrito anteriormente.
That's how many games are born which are buried in the past, even though they were attempts to stand out in the industry did not meet the expectations of the gamers. Below, I'll show you some video games that should not have existed which fulfill the above described very well.
Kabuki Warriors
Al salir del videojuego Soul Edge o también conocido como Soul Blade en el año 1995 muchos quisieron destacar realizando juegos con esa magistral fórmula, uno de ellos fue lanzado para la consola Xbox en el año 2001 y es considerado uno de los jugos más horribles jamás creados, su nombre es Kabuki Warriors.
When the video game Soul Edge or also known as Soul Blade came out in 1995 many people wanted to stand out making games with that masterful formula, one of them was released for the Xbox console in 2001 and is considered one of the most horrible games ever created, its name is Kabuki Warriors.
Visualmente sus personajes parecen todos iguales, su jugabilidad es muy mala, inclusive puedes terminarlo apretando un solo botón en todo momento, se nota que fue un videojuego programado de manera rápida para testear las funciones de la Xbox clásica ya que fue uno de los primeros juegos que fueron lanzados en dicha consola.
Visually its characters all look the same, its gameplay is very bad, you can even finish it by pressing a single button at all times, you can tell it was a video game quickly programmed to test the functions of the classic Xbox since it was one of the first games that were released on that console.
Extreme Paintbrawl
Ya para el año 1998 existieron una multitud de juegos del género FPS realmente asombrosos, uno de ellos fue Half-Life el cual es recordado por muchos jugadores de antaño, varias empresas decidieron hacer su propio FPS debido a que era lo que más se jugaba en aquellos tiempos, pero por alguna razón la desarrolladora Creative Carnage crearía una aberración llamada Extreme Paintbrawl.
By the year 1998 there were a multitude of games in the genre FPS really amazing, one of them was Half-Life which is remembered by many players of yesteryear, several companies decided to make their own FPS because it was the most played at that time, but for some reason the developer Creative Carnage would create an aberration called Extreme Paintbrawl.
Este videojuego fue lanzado en octubre de 1998 como un FPS competitivo el cual se basaba en los juegos de Paintball, la idea no era mala, de hecho, un juego de estrategia FPS sería excelente con esta temática, el detalle es que Extreme Paintbrawl era un juego que gráficamente era horrible comparado con los juegos de la época, aparte de estar llenos de bugs lo cual dificultaba su jugabilidad.
This video game was released in October 1998 as a competitive FPS which was based on the games of Paintball, the idea was not bad, in fact, a strategy game FPS would be excellent with this theme, the detail is that Extreme Paintbrawl was a game that was graphically horrible compared to the games of the time, apart from being full of bugs which made it difficult to play.
Bikini Karate Babes
De seguro recuerdas al magistral Mortal Kombat, un juego que en su época se dio a conocer debido a su violencia explícita y el método que usaron para mostrar actores reales en la pantalla del videojuego. Muchos desarrolladores copiarían esta fórmula para programar juegos del mismo género, uno de ellos fue Creative Edge Studios el cual programó Bikini Karate Babes.
You surely remember the masterful Mortal Kombat, a game that became known in its time because of its explicit violence and the method they used to show real actors on the video game screen. Many developers would copy this formula to program games of the same genre, one of them was Creative Edge Studios which programmed Bikini Karate Babes.
De seguro pensaron que colocando unas mujeres en bikini peleando entre ellas sería un éxito como videojuego, pero no tomaron en cuenta la jugabilidad la cual es pésima en todos los sentidos. Este videojuego fue olvidado ya que nadie lo jugaba, solo quedaría como un meme de internet de los videojuegos del género de pelea.
They certainly thought that putting women in bikinis fighting each other would be a success as a video game, but they didn't take into account the gameplay which is lousy in every way. This video game was forgotten because nobody played it, it would just remain an internet meme of the fighting game genre.
Muchos de los juegos descritos en esta lista son considerados aberraciones dentro del mundo de los videojuegos, existen muchos más que posiblemente se mostrarán en una segunda parte ya que existe un extenso catálogo de videojuegos que no deberían de existir.
Many of the games described in this list are considered aberrations within the videogame world, there are many more that will possibly be shown in a second part as there is an extensive catalogue of videogames that should not exist.
