Niantic has announced that the last Pokemon Go Community Day Event of the year will be special in that it will not feature one specific Pokemon; instead, all of the previously featured Pokemon will all be spawning with higher frequency! This will give the ability for those trainers who missed out on previous events, to have an opportunity to get some great shinies before the end of the year. The following are the list of Pokemon that will be featured:
Bulbasaur
Squirtle
Charmander
Pickahu
Eevee
Dratini
Chikorita
Cyndaquil
Mareep
Larvitar
Beldum
In addition, Niantic has said that the duration of the increased spawns will be from Friday November 30 thru Sunday, December 2nd. While they made bo mentions of the increased rate of shinies spawning, it is probably certain that the chance of it happening be high given the expectations of the community. They also mentioned that the exclusive moves available for their previous Community Day Events will also be available when evolving the Pokemons to there last form.
One slight difference given the extended time for the event is that the bonuses that will be unlocked will only be for three hours on Saturday, December 1st. These bonuses include double catch CP, double catch Stardust and double speed egg incubators. There was also no mention of increased lures but would not be surprised if they last for the duration of the bonuses only.
I think this is a great event to give one last opportunity for players who previously missed an event to get a chance at some extra Pokemon candy and some shinies to trade. I look forward to having a shiny weekend!
