Hello, today I want to tell you about the imperfect but the best game engine in the world at the moment (in my opinion). It is called "Frostbite", developed by EA DICE.
As an example of not ideality, but fun, in the next screenshot I played in fifa 17 mode of single career and in one of the training matches in the middle of the screen a tree appeared :)
The game engine was originally employed in the Battlefield video game series, but would later be expanded to other first-person shooter video games and a variety of other genres. To date, Frostbite has been exclusive to video games published by Electronic Arts.
Technology is able to handle the destructibility of the terrain and the environment (for example, buildings, trees, cars).
Dynamic lighting and shading with HBAO function, procedural shading, various post-effects (for example, HDR and depth of field), particle system and texturing techniques, such as bump mapping, are supported. The maximum size of the location is a limit of 32 × 32 kilometers of display area and 4 × 4 kilometers of playing space. In addition, according to the creators, the maximum distance of drawing allows you to see the level up to the horizon. For example, the largest map "Bandar Desert" from Battlefield 3 has an area of 5 square kilometers of playing space.
Games come alive with Frostbite, immersing players in deep and dynamic worlds with changing weather, adaptable cities, landsc…
