It was a different kind of day for me in Lunenburg. An online game has caught my interest. It is not a new game, having had its 17th anniversary recently. It is a licenced version of Lord of The Rings or more affectionately known as LOTRO (Lord of The Rings Online).
With the recent electrical gremlins (which both The Admiral and myself now feel is a need for engine battery replacement) it seemed sensible to take my laptop ashore and explore what the Town Library has to offer.
It has more recently been moved to the old school, which is not only architecture out of Wuthering Heights, but also perched on the highest point in the municipality.
The building provided an ambiance which drooled library. They were set up for modern technology as well. They guided me to a comfortable booth which supported all kinds of cable inputs as well as a fast open wifi.
This Old Seadog was pleased...
After what the Orange Man would correctly define as a Yuuuge download it was time for my first quest. It was the classic breaking out of jail and saving other prisoners on the way with no other than Legolas Strider to lend a hand in our release!
By early afternoon all the downloads, social media crawl and LOTRO hack and slashing all made me a bit peckish; so my gear was packed up and the return trip, made easier by it's downhill decline, was made to the Fish Shack to enjoy some fresh haddock washed down by a cool root beer.
After allowing a little digestive time on the comfy chair on Zwickers Wharf it was back out to Makina under oar power.
It's feeling like nap time may be quickly approaching, so will get this post away before the eyelids drop!
