Hey Leute :)Auch heute gehts natürlich mit einem meiner Lieblingstitel weiter, dieses Mal springen wir nicht durch den Dschungel, sondern beweisen uns als Burgherr im Mittelalter :)

Hey folks :)Also today we continue with one of my favourite titles, this time we don't jump through the jungle, but prove ourselves as lords of the castle in the Middle Ages :)
Ich kann mich noch sehr gut an meine erste Runde Stronghold erinnern, das war genau das Spiel, dass ich mir immer gewünscht hatte, die bis dato erschienenen Strategie-Spiele waren nicht schlecht, aber in keinem konnte man seine Burg in einem solchen Detailreichtum und mit einer solchen Genauigkeit errichten und dann die Mauern und Türme auch noch mit den zuvor ausgebildeten Soldaten besetzen, es war/ist einfach großartig! :)
Wie der vorherigen Aussage zu entnehmen, wird auch heute noch sehr gerne die ein oder andere Runde mit freunden gespielt, zumeist ist es allerdings der Nachfolger, Stronghold Crusader, aber bis heute hat es das Game geschafft, mich zu begeistern und das konnten nicht viele :D

I can still remember my first round of Stronghold very well, that was exactly the game I had always wished for, the strategy games that had appeared so far were not bad, but in none of them could you build your castle with such detail and accuracy and then occupy the walls and towers with the soldiers trained before, it was/is simply great! :)
As you can see from the previous statement, I still like to play one or the other round with friends, but mostly it is the successor, Stronghold Crusader. Until today the game has managed to fascinate me and not many others were able to do so.

Das Spiel hat sehr schöne Details und auch einige interessante Easter-Eggs, wie im Video bei Minute 6:05 feststellen werdet xD
Durch das GameStar Magazin habe ich das Spiel damals auch kennen gelernt, Flatrate Internet und "schnelle Verbindungen" warem nicht wirklich gegeben, da kamen die Trailer und Patches auf den CD´s seeeehr gelegen, habs immer gerne gekauft :)

The game has beautiful details and also some interesting Easter-Eggs, as you will see in the video at minute 6:05 xD
I got to know the game through GameStar magazine back then, flatrate internet and "fast connections" were not really given, so the trailers and patches were very useful to have on CD´s, I always liked to buy it :)

The Stronghold History so far:
Meiner Meinung nach taugen nur "Stronghold" und "Stronghold Crusader", "Stronghold Kingdoms" war im großen Clan auch nicht schlecht, aber die anderen Teile könnt ihr meiner Meinung nach relativ vergessen^^
In my opinion only "Stronghold" and "Stronghold Crusader" are good, "Stronghold Kingdoms" was not bad playing it in a big clan either, but in my opinion you can relatively forget the other parts^^
