Welcome to Steem Monsters!
Steem Monsters is a decentralized trading card game, built on the Steem blockchain. Each card is encoded into the blockchain and serves as a digital asset, which is incredibly secure and cannot be copied. Players use their cards in battles and tournaments and can transfer their cards and gift them or sell them to others.
The Steem blockchain powers the fantastic social media platform Steemit, which you see before you. A free Steemit registration is included in each of the starter packs I am giving away.

Today's Scenario
You invite the Mayor out for drinks and deliver an impassioned speech, presenting each of the fine points of your plan. Several weeks later, a citizen militia has been developed between each of the villages and towns in the region
In the months following the Horde drew closer, until finally their main forces reached this group of settlements. Your militia, composed mostly of farmers, craftsmen, and bandits, had learned a lot, but was clearly not equipped for such a challenge.
Every day, people left the militia to evacuate. Finally only a ragtag group of 100 citizens remained.
You decided to strike at the very heart of the Horde...the Warlord Kavarr himself. Staging an attack on his primary camp, you accompanied a group of twelve to assassinate the Warlord himself.
The attack went badly, but you managed to make it into his tent. His guards cut down all but two of you, your allies rising as undead. You charge forward to attack Kavarr...and are hit with two large fireballs to the face. Kavarr is apparently a mage. As everything around you fades, there is a sound of electronic beeping.
Eugene grits his teeth and steps away from his new computer game "Kavarr's Revenge". It appears he's lost again.
