Good news if you have a ps4. There is still lots of life in it. At least three years worth. This has been confirmed by sony that the ps5 is at least 3 years away which means 2021. I agree with this as there is still a lot of life in the ps4 and there is not a need for a new system yet. The graphics are pretty great and there is still a lot more titles they can make for it before we are looking to make the next leap.
The question then becomes what is that leap? Will it be online only? Maybe a blockchain system. That is what I want to see. Imagine a ps5 wallet that you can play games with and trade your content between games. That might just be a dream but a blockchain system is something I would love to see.
But for now we see what games are coming to e3
