Hello, strawberry lovers.
I'm trying out some varieties in soil and the same varieties in hydroculture
This is how they arrived end of January

Quality plants?
I hope I get strawberries from these plants, they are tiny and some already died.
Compare one of my own plants with one of the store bought.

Comparison
All strawberries are in open sky near eachother, the hydro berries share one water system.
I might use the same solluble fertilizer on both the soil buckets and hydro system, I haven't decided yet.
Except for the mara des bois, these are all june bearers.
I'm ultimatly interested in the best flavor. Some things to note,
the lambada is the most fragile of the varieties, then the mara des bois and
the vima zanta. I wonder if that will reflect in taste.

These pictures are from a week ago, the plants in soil are pulling ahead in size, but
I hadn't started adding fertilizer to the water yet.
