It will feed you and get you in shape..at the same time :)

This is what our celery scrap looked like 30th of march when I put it in water.

Two days later, the 1st of April, its already much greener and have a little thinger growing in the middle

The 4th of april the green thinger is way bigger , have a friend and look at that root in the water!

5th of April, just because I really really like this picture!

The 11th of April I transplanted it to a red solo cup that I punched holes in the bottom of.

I read up on celery and realized it prefers cool weather, seedlings are to be transplanted outside 3 weeks prior to last frost! We are now a week or so away from last frost here and the weather is getting warmer. So, these guys have been hardened off for a few days I decided it was time to transplant them to their forever home. I might have to get them some shade to begin with but this spot just have morning sun/noon sun so they will hopefully be fine.

Look at those roots! I was quite impressed with how much they grown since I put them in their red plastic cup.

The second celery we grown from scraps got to tag along too. It went from water to soil outside. Im excited to see how these guys will do. They been a lot of fun growing from scraps since they change so much, so fast!
Hope everyone had a real great day. We had to rush all our plants inside - the Albertan weather hit - it went from sunshine to storm in about 5 minutes
