Three days ago, I took one soft stem from my Stevia plant since it has gotten so tall already and leaning. As an experiment, it was said that it is easier to root them with water so I submerged two nodes in water.
Today I changed the the water and I found a way to keep the leaves away from getting wet.
We went to the groceries yesterday and thought I would keep the watermelon shake cups from Thirsty. The lid is sure very helpful in keeping the leaves from getting wet.
Not only mosquitoes will be prevented from laying eggs, the cup's lid is also white which reflects brightness that is needed by the stem to root.
