Geraniums and pelargoniums are beautiful hardy plants which make them perfect for my garden. Our climate is very dry and hot during summer and because we live at the foot of the hills we suffer from gully winds. Finding the right plants to suit our conditions can be very difficult.
Geraniums and pelargoniums do need regular watering during the hot, dry months but they seem to cope better than most plants.
They flower mostly during Spring and summer and the flowers come in many shapes, sizes and colours.
I have found propagating them is very easy. I often fill in the gaps in the garden with propagated plants this saves me from having to purchase more.
