WHAT IS LARIMAR BLUE?
Larimar (also known as "Stefilia's Stone") is one of the extremely rare gemstones found on Earth. It is found only in an area of one square km in the Caribbean island nation of Dominican Republic in the Greater Antilles archipelago.
Apart from very limited supply of the Larimar gemstone, there are challenges in mining it. The difficultly level in mining Larimar can be realized from the fact that the Larimar stone is formed when crystallized minerals are pushed up by hot gas though volcanic tubes. Thereby, to mine and excavate Larimar stones, miners need to identify such volcanic tubes and older volcanoes needs to be dig deeper and deeper into.
Further, the No. 1 problem currently facing the Larimar industry is the fluctuating price differences leading to price volatility. Also, its rare feature is driving the prices upwards with the soaring demand.
The 2nd problem facing the precious and semi-precious gemstones industry is the proliferation of fake gemstones and illegal export of gemstones.
The "Atlantis Blue" project aims to solve these problems currently facing the Larimar industry.
ATLANTIS BLUE' SOLUTIONS
With the ICO, the Atlantis Blue team aims to accomplish two primary objectives: -
To build and establish the Atlantis Blue (AB) Warehouse, which will be the single point (warehouse) to receive gemstones (i.e. Larimar) directly from the mines. Such an approach will ensure that there is no proliferation and also avoid illegal export and smuggling of rough stones (i.e. **Larimar) in the grey market.
To build the Atlantis Blue (AB) Artisan Camp, which will be the focal point for legalization of cutting and polishing of rough stones (i.e. Larimar). Post this process, the stones will obtain a legal status for sale and distribution in international markets. It will also ensure that local artisans will have job security as rough stones must pass through this process before the stones (i.e. Larimar) are sold in the market.
To build the Atlantis Blue (AB) Exchange, which will be the junction (exchange market) for distribution of local and international market. It will also act as the only registry to authorize resellers. Furthers, customers can verify the authenticity of authorized Atlantis Blue Dealers by checking the reseller's websites.
ATLANTIS BLUE (ABDT) TOKENS
The Atlantis Blue Digital Token (ABDT) are the utility tokens used on the Atlantis Blue platform. The total no. of ABDT tokens is fixed at 400 million tokens while 300 million tokens (i.e. 75%) will be sold during the ICO. The company behind the issuance of ABDT tokens want to hand over the majority control to the free market, therefore, 75% of the total tokens will be sold during the ICO.
The 300 million ABDT tokens will be sold in 6 phases, with 50 million ABDT tokens to be sold in each phase. The 1st 50 million to be sold at $ 0.10/ABDT token, with the following 50 million tokens at $ 0.20, then the next 50 million at $ 0.30, then at $ 0.40, $ 0.50 and $ 0.60.
