Lightning struck and we were without power for 2 days. A very strange and sudden storm occurred on Saturday with extremely high winds and incredible lightning. It only lasted a short time, but it managed to knock down several trees and power lines in our area. We spent Saturday night in complete darkness and figured the power would be back the next day. We were wrong. Sunday afternoon we got out the generator and I managed to tether the internet from my phone to get some work done. It was crazy hot and reached 99 degrees upstairs. Good times. The power finally came back this evening so I'm thoroughly enjoying the AC. This was Super Baby's first experience with a power outage and she was not pleased. The poor kitty hid upstairs the whole time.
