For a while now, I've been searching for a different Blockchain game. I came across a game called Genesis League Goals, and I was truly amazed by it from the first time I tried it. This isn't just any ordinary football game and it's a true strategic masterpiece, especially with its match system.
The beauty of Genesis League Goals is that you enter the tournament or ranked play with a full team, consisting of a coach and up to 30 players. During a match, you field seven starting players, five substitutes who can be swapped during the match, and 10 reserve players who can be swapped between matches.
The cards themselves come in two types: regular and gold foil. Each player card comes with statistics that reflect their actual level, which adds a strong sense of realism to the game. Each player can also be developed through skills you add, whether passive or active. This makes each player unique in their own way, which also increases their market value.
Not only that, the coach also has a special card, and each coach card gives a different boost during a match. Tactics aren't just about the players, but also about choosing the right coach. Each round, you got cards from your team and you choose how the player closest to the ball will act. Then, you start moving trying to be on top your opponent whether good defense, attack, or smart passing in the game.
The game combines smart and speed, and each match presents a new challenge. Every time I play, I feel like a good coach and getting some plan and trying to be it against a good opponent. This is what made Genesis League Goals one of the most engaging games I've seen recently.
