No Steemians, there are no special bots on the site called Megabots!
In case you haven't heard of it, an American company called Megabots Inc challenged Japan’s Suidoboshi Heavy Industry's robot called KURATAS. Here is the "Challenge" video.
The video started trending on Reddit and caught a lot of attention, so they went for a "season 1" trailer to hype everyone up.
This is going to be awesome, was my first thought after watching it. Later it was announced that the date for the epic battle of the two was set for August this year.
Here is a quick look at the Japanese Robot KURATAS, bear in mind though that this Robot is over four years old so I expect it to have gotten a few upgrades since then, especially after the challenge!
A few days ago this video was uploaded to Youtube demonstrating the Megabot, looking as American as you could imagine!
I don't know about you, but I've seen angry children hit harder than that.
