Pixel sorting plus some slight color tweaking in GIMP with G'MIC:
I usually mess around more, but the sorting alone looked so cool, I stopped there, and just tweaked it a little to bring out the texture. I also flipped it upside-down. Reminds me of some kind of crazy landscape.
