Fun fact: It hasn't been this cold in Arkansas since 1899!!!
Sure enough it got below zero here three nights in a row. In fact, we got another 3 to 5 inches of more snow last night. I've been watching the icicles get a little bit longer the past few days and found this one here to be the longest hanging down. I know it is kind of hard to see but the tip is just past the number 19 on the tape measure. I was estimating it to be a foot and a half long and I was right. I wonder if it will get over 2 feet before it falls off? Will the rest of the icicles get this long before it warms up enough they melt off? How long were the icicles where you are at?
