Crazy skies a couple nights ago. When I looked out there was a smoke plume on West Mountain, which is actually in the East, silly huh. You can see our snow capped mountains are slowly giving way to Spring. This is the season where our local Forest management folks decide to burn slash piles from last years logging. In another week it will be so dry, that if they started burning then, our world would be totally up in smoke. We complain every year about the mis management of our forests and the useless tactics they use. It seems, from spring to first snow fall, we are constantly in a cloud of smoke whether man made or nature made.
This picture was taken with my Sony Vivitar Cybershot. I fiddled with the light and color just a tad to try and bring out all the colors in the sky. Dark storm clouds, bright blue sky, tumultuous spring skies. It's Idaho, you never know what to expect.
This is my entry for @juliank #goldenhourphotography Sunday. Thank you for hosting.
