Golf is fun.. or extremely frustrating! Here are some quick tips to help the beginner golf enthusiast..
Take your time. When first learning golf understand there are a lot of technical pieces to the swing that will become muscle memory with practice.
)Warm up. Get a few "chunks" out of your game before the 1st hole. Hit the driving range with a handful of clubs. Start with one of your shortest clubs (Wedge) and gradually build up to your driver.
Set up for your shot. Have a routine approach to your stance/swing. Consistency will help you make adjustments as necessary.
One smooth motion.Don't over swing, let the club do the work. Use power from the ground into your core and into your swing. Remember to keep your forward elbow straight in the backswing, keep your EYE ON THE BALL and follow through the contact.
- Finish! Read the greens, envision the line the ball will travel. Use your approach, EYE ON THE BALL, and follow through the putt.
