Google gradually unveiled two new tools as a solution to the ongoing Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, on an initiative to help businesses reduce revenue due to mobile websites. The new tools announced are called 'Speed Scorecard' and 'Imprint Calculator'. Although primarily a speed comparison tool for the previous mobile website, another determines the amount of revenue loss due to the low loading speed of the mobile website.
Supported by a Chrome User Experience Report, Speed Scorecard will provide insight into website owners when they load their mobile websites by comparing them with their other websites.
According to Google's recommendation, a medium-quality smartphone should be able to load in a 3G connection in five seconds for a 4G connection and in three seconds.
The post also mentioned that there is a 20 percent fall in sales conversion over the delay of each one-second of the load time. To prevent this, the compact calculator, option tool announced by Google, calculates the financial losses that may cause matter loss due to a slow load period.
