3 reasons why i believe this show has become so iconic and has a legion of fans scattered around the world?
Well here are my reasons
Firstly and most importantly
The show has everything: there's nothing you can't find in game of thrones, romance, revenge, power, nudity, gay, incest, politics,hatred, drama, so much action, pure evil, region, faith, darkness, dragons,castles, the language, betrayal, conspiracy, so much sarcasm yet so much wisdom. let's not forget the wars too... it has all the genres you can think of. It has everything..
The locations: Every location has something different and unique to offer. People love visuals and variety, they love seeing different things. Westeros, Winterfell, Esos, Qarth,High garden, the mode of dressing differs. Each place is also complex with its own culture... "no marriage in Narth". How many shows invented their own languages? wow wow wow... the dothraki and valyrian were invented in the show and funny enough, it has its own accent.
Did I also mention that new villages were built for the sake of that show? brilliant. Game of thrones created it's own world.. Their way of dressing is art, I know someone that loves this show because of the dressing..
Lastly, the fact that no one knows what's happens next, the suspense is so raw. Who dies next? The people you think will live till the end of the show died before it got tough,the people you think are your heroes. I remember when Ned Stark died, I actually stopped watching till I was forced to continue. In An average normal movie, the Starks wouldn't have died or suffered that much, but GoT isn't an average movie. The twist and turns, the visuals, every character is given a quality share of camera time in order for viewers to understand their roles. The transformation of each character ,Brandon,Arya,Sansa,Tyrion,Jermie, Jon Snow, The hound, I can't keep mentioning. Everyone wants to know what happens next to their favorite character ... The suspense is what got people hooked.
Game of Thrones is just Amazing
