There are times we visit a new place and we get lost. Instead of asking around from strangers, we simply pick up our phones and open up our Map Apps that will show us our location. With this app, we can get to locate our destination with detailed and estimated time of arrival and directions. Presently we have numerous Map and locations applications present on both the android and the iOS version of our mobile phones.
But the current mapping platforms have numerous issues that slows down its widened usage and frustrates users a lot and some of this issues include
- The high and expensive cost of data, so many Map applications do a selective coverage of regions.
- Most of the Real-time updates are very slow and unresponsive
- Most of the data accrued from the usage of the Maps apps is being collected for free and sold to data brokers for profits.

All these problems led to the coming up of a platform that aims to curb all the above problems and this platform is called the GOWITHMI mapping platform.
GOWITHMI Explained
The GOWITHMI platform came up with a solution to all the problems that affect the current Mapping and location services with the use of the decentralized nature of the blockchain to further improve upon the mapping service. This will be the first complete decentralized location based service infrastructure in the world that will be able to provide a 3-in-1 solution to the above problems: spatial consensus, location based profit sharing and space co-governance

The GoWithMi Tokens
The GoWithMi platform has two major types of tokens, the first being the main token of the platform called the GMAT tokens. This token is an ERC20 token based on the ethereum blockchain and it's being used for all the major transactions done on the platform such as geographic data contribution tagging, payment of mapping services, trading, etc. The other type of token is called the GoZone tokens and this is an ERC721 token used for virtual land rights on the GoWithMi platform.
