@atamme asked, "Do you think the big tech companies will form into a single monopolized company?"
I think that big tech companies could form into a single monopolized company, but at the same time I don't think they will or want to. I believe that if the big tech companies are their own company, then they will have more power than if they combined into one corporation. That's why I don't think they will join forces together. On the other hand, all big tech companies want power in the grand scheme of things, and sometimes this might lead their leaders to engage in crazy things. Although the big tech companies aren't monopolized, I think that they still have the feel of a monopolized corporation. Big tech companies can censor what they want on their platforms and to me that shows that they have so much power over our own devices that we own. I remember when President Trump was taken off Twitter and Instagram completely due to the incident on January 6th. I think that this was an extreme measure taken by Big tech because President Trump was the president of our country. I don't think it was right for those sources to completely ban him from communicating with the community. This example reinforces how much power Big tech really has over our ways of communicating. Once again, I don't think that the big tech companies will join forces into one monopolized corporation, but I believe that they definitely could become a monopolized corporation if all of them were in favor. In all honesty, however, I think that the big tech corporations are all secretly working with each other without public knowledge. After all, they are all technological corporations, so they must work together in some sense when it comes to censorship.
