Making Projects out of open jobs
Greendeliverence has been a bit silent lately. There is a lot of work to do like starting a primary witness, updates on al my open projects, changing all my posts. Joining the hive movement the fork of steem got me suddenly a lot of work besides my own. I will solve this more professional and will make projects with schedules, to/do tasks.
Witness server
The witness server was down because lack of funding. I will adres this more professional with budgeting and keeping the costs in this budged. The budged would be funded with the production of block witnessing, post payouts and gifts. The block witnessing wont be sufficient to fund the server so I will be posting posts on this and the dutch account. Greendeliverence will be transparent where the funds will go to in a monthly post.
Witness vps
To start small I ordered a small package at contabo. I know it is not really a great server but it serves it's purpose and are above minimum requirements. The package VPS M SSD is a package that costs not that much to begin with. It has 6xeon cores, 16Gb ram, 400Gb ssd space, 400Mbit/s connection and has Ubuntu 18.04 installed. This package costs 8,99 euro so whatever happens I need a minimum payout of 10 euro a month, earned with block witnessing or post payout for this server. This would be manageable I think. The server is running on MIRA.
Why I didn't choose the main hive server hoster Privex.
#Privex is a server hosting company that accepts crypto. So why didn't I choose for them? The reason is if everyone is choosing for privex than the blockchain is in danger. If something is happening to Privex there would be no blockchain anymore. We saw what happened to steemit so my choice how great they do their job was contabo. The price to begin with a server at privex is 40 euro. As I digged a grave financially for my self earlier I just want to begin small instead of buying the biggest package 2 times.
The server isn't running yet?
No I installed the server with the document of @deathwing had a few hickups in the installation document that I had to solve like forgetting to delete the # in front of the servername. This is solved the server is replaying this moment at 27%. The replay started yesterday at the end of the day. Iám posting this post to earn the crypto to pay for the server. Of course also to let everyone know what Greendeliverence is doing. I think the server will be online tomorrow.
