So Gregg Wallace is having to step down from presenting on the BBC because of 13 allegations of making sexist jokes, innuendos, taking his top off in the studio and talking about his sex life.
OK I guess that is quite a lot of females who have been made to feel uncomfortable by Gregg's sexual banter, and there's nothing predatory about any of this, literally just that, women feeling uncomfortable about Gregg telling sexist jokes behind the camera while they are 'chopping away' on Masterchef, for example.
Maybe that's fair enough.... women don't want to have to listen to this kind of nonsense while they are out in public, and from all accounts Gregg has been warned that his behaviour makes women uncomfortable and he's 'got better' according to one of his co-hosts on Masterchef.
And his foul mouth (that's basically all this is from the sound of it) have finally caught up with him.
And he did really push it a little bit too far on occasion.... saying to one Masterchef contestant 'I'd munch the living daylights out you, you little tart' when she presented a tart as one of her dishes. 'Excuse me' was her response.
Hard to tell.....
I do like Gregg Wallace, he's one of the few obviously working class roots lads on the BBC, but at the same time he does have a wife who is 20 years younger so he clearly fancies himself.
it is quite possible that all of his sexist banter is probing for a bit more, and while we all know randy characters in our social lives who you can just sort of brush off, if you come across one of these at work it's shit, and you'd hope they'd modify that type of behaviour out of their interactions day to day.
But I guess this is more difficult to police when it comes to a presenter who is only interacting with people for a very short period, it's unlikely that complaints will be made if you're just filming with him for one, two or a few episodes.
And it wasn't everyone he did this with, clearly not Cherry Healey who co-presented In the Factory for many years.

Clearly she hasn't been the 'victim' of Gregg's sexist banter.
But maybe that was his modus operandi... banter with those who he only had occasional interaction with, keep it clean with the big name stars or people you work with on a regular basis.
That's probably what that is, he's been using sexualised banter to probe for openings with women he comes into infrequent contact with.... but it's backfired after all these years.
And now he's left with a legacy of being a bit of a pervert, which sounds about right.
He just pushed this a little too far and got it a little bit wrong.
It also probably doesn't help that he's now 60, if he was 30 and doing this probably he'd have had eyelids being batted back at him in way he was hoping for, rather than this!
