Step 1. Do a Gridcoin wallet and save wallet.dar and the .conf file on an external usb.
Step 2. Do an account on grcpool website. Setup up everything including your wallet address.
Step 3. Download BOINC program on your computer, change to advanced view and play with the settings. Check and learn how to sync to grcpool and how to add/detach projects.
Step 4. Make Free accounts on Google Cloud, Amazon AWS and Azure Microsoft. I use Linux Debian on Google Cloud, EC2 windows on AWS and Linux on Azure. If you got windows on your computer, you can set up AWS EC2 in the same way. For Google and Azure, I do it this way.
Create vm instance Linux Debian high cpu
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install boinc
boinccmd --set_run_mode always
boinccmd --set_network_mode always
boinccmd --join_acct_mgr URL NAME PASSWORD
URL is https://www.grcpool.com/
After this command is executed, you should be able to see the new machines in your profile on the pool’s website.
Now it’s time to go to https://www.grcpool.com/account/index , select our new hosts and enable the projects you intend to run. Also select everything but “No CPU” since you want to run only CPU tasks.
Don’t forget to submit the changes.
Try entering the boinccmd --join_acct_mgr command twice in order to sync with the pool.
sudo apt-get install boinctui
after installation, just call it: boinctui
To exit the interface, press CTRL+C
You can make a nice stash of Gridcoin for free. Google and Azure will run until you finish the free money. Amazon on EC2 can run 12 months free.
Step 5. Enjoy your rewards.
