Guys in bible times had issues like the ones we have today. They were looking for answers. When Jesus came along they were very happy.
One day they brought a person born blind to Jesus and asked him, "Master, who did sin, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" (John 9:2-3 KJV).
Jesus answered them saying,
“Neither this man, nor his parents: but that the works of God be made manifest in him. And then he made the blind man see.
You and I can relate this to any incident in our lives. For instance, take a hard issue in your life right now and ask contemplatively; "Is this problem a result of my mistakes, my parents’, other people or situations?"
Then answer it the Jesus way;
"It’s not because of my mistakes or because of my parents’ mistakes but that the work of God is openly seen through me.”The lesson here is, if you want to see God’s purpose in your life, stop blaming yourself, others or situations in your life. Instead be silent with acceptance of what is and observe what follows.
