After my trip to the theatre on Saturday I took a walk down London's famous Denmark Street. It's home to a cool selection of music shops. If you want to see a lot of guitars, then this is the place. It's fun just to browse. I have bought a few things there, but didn't really need anything. I am thinking that at some point I'll get a better acoustic guitar, but the choice is just overwhelming. Some of the shops have a full floor of them and they tend to all look similar. I'll save up and take advice before I buy.
I did buy a few more picks to try out. The Herco thumb picks looked like they might help me hold on with my weak right hand. I've tried them and they are still not ideal. They are not really meant for strumming and you lose the ability to do pinched harmonics. The clear Jim Dunlop is nice. I'll be using that one. The Martin is okay. I'm getting a good selection to give me some variety.
I do collect picks. If you have some spares you can send me then I will send you some Steem in exchange. Give me a shout and we can discuss terms.
