OK so my buddy @winterbike told me that caffein made him anxious a few hours after ingestion and he also gets a pretty big crash from it.
He saw a few blog posts, shared or written by Robb Wolf (look him up!), talking about the benefits of Nicotine.
A lot of people have been saying nicotine is great for focus. Stephen King for example said that when he quit smoking, he lost the ability to just sit down for hours and get shit done.
So Winterbike gave nicotine gum a try and told me the effects were great: very focused, experienced no anxiety or afterwards crash. All without burning chemicals and destroying your lungs/health in the process.
He gave me 2 gums to try out and warned me not to take more than a quarter of a single gum.
Being the cool guy that I am, I took half a gum. Holy dog shit! I'm dizzy and feel like my mind is on overdrive right now!
Pretty much what I look like at the moment... Hands on keyboard though...
I have no intention of making this a habit btw, I'm pretty damn health concious, been on an ancestral lifestyle and human food diet (All whole foods. Nothing refined: No grains, no legumes, no refined oils or refined sugars) for about 6 years now. I'm not about to start smoking haha! I'll simply save this little hack for when I really need to get a LOT of focused work done in one sitting.
So far so good!
Anyone else ever give these a try?
