I am still smelling the after-smell from the fireworks that neighbors were shooting off when low and behold in the Michael's store in Brick, New Jersey, I came across an entire section dedicated to Halloween. Now, I don't mind celebrating horror movies all year round but it did strike me as rushing the holidays. The weirdest thing is that I used to collect Nutcrackers and I found an entire shelf filled with Halloween-themed Nutcrackers. And they were awesome!
I know that you are probably thinking after my last sentence that I bought some but I didn't. I was just buying time until the movie time was closer for "Jurassic World: Rebirth" in 3-D that was playing at the AMC Theater in the same strip mall. There was a good variety of Halloween merchandise available at this store, which made me start to think that I should purchase some things now because I may not be able to find them when the season really is here!
There was enough Halloween-themed buildings that lit up that were available to create my own "Nightmare Before Christmas." I can really piss off everyone in my house by building these villages in every room. Now that I think of it, I probably have items in my office that could be considered a Halloween decoration tp people that don't understand me! Who am I anyway to decide that something should wait for a certain season to be displayed?
