The days are getting shorter
the once green leaves turn to yellow orange gold
oh what a deciduous sight to behold
and for those that in Dracula and evil clowns do believe
it is the time called All Hallows Eve
The nights grow ever longer
the winds blow ever stronger
oh my oh my it’s starting to feel cold
and for those that in devils and demons do believe
it is the time called All Hallows Eve
The clouds sweep across the moon
autumn leaves are blown from where they are strewn
oh in this gloom the midnight hour does loom
and for those that in werewolves and vampires do believe
it is the time called All Hallows Eve
The autumn sun shines but the wind whines
the weather sends many a shiver down many a spine
oh and the darkly grey clouds are like a shroud
and for those that in hobgoblins and warlocks do believe
it is the time called All Hallows Eve
The green ivy creeps where the dead do sleep
upon headstones in the graveyard
oh the living had better be on their guard
and for those that in ghosts and ghouls do believe
it is the time called All Hallows Eve
The straw and willow sweeping broom
leans against the wall in the orange room
oh that wooden floor is pristine clean
and for those that in witches and wizards do believe
it is the time called All Hallows Eve
The scarecrow stands like a creepy foe
and frightens birds where the pumpkins grow
oh that field at twilight please don’t go
and for those that in eerie ravens and owls do believe
it is the time called All Hallows Eve
The spider weaves it’s wicked sticky web
which for many has become an eternal bed
oh please don’t walk back home that way
and for those that in fugly beasts and dragons do believe
it is the time called All Hallows Eve
The rat runs about in the haunted house on the hill
live within its jinxed walls and you’re sure to become ill
oh that spooky house gives all who look upon it a chill
and for those that in mystic bats and black cats do believe
it is the time called All Hallows Eve
The magick potion in the cauldron froths and bubbles
do not drink it or you will forever have trouble
oh this is a wicked trick and not a treat
and for those that in spells and curses do believe
it is the time called All Hallows Eve
