Many times the pain, depending on its intensity, alters us, incapacitates us, annuls us, but for our benefit there are many natural ways with which we can overcome it.

All of us at some time in our life have had or suffered from pain somewhere in our body. So I have a news: Pain is a necessary sensation for life because through it, the body tells us that something is wrong. The pain itself is not the disease, it is nevertheless the sign that there are problems. When the signs of the nervous system are sent from the affected place to the thalamus, neurotransmitters are released that transport that sensation of pain to this area.
One of the main actions we must take against pain (before drugs) is a good attitude.
Even if you do not understand or it sounds strange to you, pain is not always synonymous of suffering and is controllable through a positive attitude and adequate autosuggestion. It will depend on us that the pain becomes our executioner, and controls us or that it becomes an opportunity to learn to control it while we find a balance between the body and the mind.
Many people have found different ways to control and cope with pain. Yoga practitioners detach themselves from pain by taking their attention or focusing on the other parts of the body that are functioning on a regular basis. Others use hypnosis, using the imagination in which a thought of autosuggestion is induced to imagine that in each breath the intensity of pain is diminished and on the other hand displacement is used. That is to say, with his eyes closed he imagines that the pain moves little by little until leaving the body, remaining as a slight sensation.

The human body has the benefit of producing its own medicine and I tell you why. The body has a powerful neurotransmitter called serotonin, which is able to relax the muscular system and cause a sense of well-being. This occurs naturally in the brain and is therefore harmless. All of us have in our hands the possibility of increasing Serotonin and in that way to fight the pain, we just have to know how to listen to our body!
